Beginner Riders:
Explore the Sagamore Unit — 7 miles of universal/adaptive trails like Copper Nugget, Klondyke, and Blaster. The wide, red dirt trails are sure to make you smile!Intermediate Thrills:

Hiking
Cuyuna isn’t known for traditional hiking—but it excels at wandering. The paved trail offers miles of scenic walking through forest, lakes, and town, with space to explore off the beaten path at your own pace. Paddling
Whether paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking; Cuyuna’s Mine Lakes are truly gorgeous. Rent a glass-bottom kayak or paddleboard and glide across spring-fed turquoise waters, where underwater forests still stand. (Local rentals in town with drop-off available!)

Winter Activities
Winter in Cuyuna brings a slower, snow-covered pace. Snowshoeing, fat tire biking, Altai skiing, and peaceful walks along frozen mine lakes invite you outside, while miles of groomed trails offer space to explore at your own rhythm. It’s a season made for movement, stillness, and coming back to relax & warm up in our redwood sauna.
