Access over 70+ miles of world class single track Cuyuna Mountain Bike trails directly from Cuyuna Cove! Enjoy views of the pines and ferns in the forest and up to 15 pristine mine lakes along your ride. These trails are meant for the whole family with varying levels of difficulty.
What once was a booming iron ore mining area in Northern Minnesota now boasts over 55 miles of red dirt, groomed single track already featured in REI, Outdoor Magazine and more. Locals, volunteers and mountain biking enthusiasts came together to carve out some of the most beautiful and technical single track in the US. On your ride the landscape changes from towering 200ft pines, to swaying Minnesota prairie grasses to stunning oaks, rolling hills and endless sparkling, turquoise mining lakes. On your ride, you’ll want to take breaks to slow down and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. When you glance down from the cliffside track, you can see almost 40 ft below the water’s surface and spot old trees looming from the depths. These trees and plants grew from the years the mines were shut down. They are now spring fed and shockingly clear and beautiful. After you’ve exhausted yourself on the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trails, ride into Main Street Crosby where you’ll be taken back into 1905. The old mining town has kept it’s historic charm and now boasts a brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, ice cream and more.
